Some of The Park’s most ardent oenophiles joined us for a small dinner in the Manhattan Room on 2nd March to taste and discuss the wines of Chateau Montelena. And we’re sorry to give you FOMO, but it was an evening for the ages.
Matt Crafton, the winemaker, joined us all the way from California, and while wine initially brought us together, the conversation soon veered into culture, politics, and farming practices in California. As you can see, Matt’s visit required us to undergo extensive staff training, and our tastebuds were exhausted from the many superlative bottles we were forced to enjoy. But if this is what we must do to ensure that our guests are drinking the best of the best, we humbly accept this hardship assignment.
Thank you to all who joined us, and watch this space, because as winter turns to spring, we’ll be hosting more events for oenophiles of all persuasions.
