Summer Evenings in Hyde Park, Sorted

Mumford & Sons, Lewis Capaldi, and a late-night dinner with us are all on the agenda

A Very Persuasive Reason to Head Queensway

Surely, the siren song of dinner at The Park is enough to coax you towards the Queensway. While you’re in the neighbourhood, we have a few additional suggestions.

First and foremost, the summer concert series BST Hyde Park kicks off momentarily. The ones you can’t afford to miss? Ideally, we’d attend every single show, but highlights will include Garth Brooks (27th June), Mumford & Sons (4th July), Duran Duran (5th July), and Lewis Capaldi (11th and 12th July).

Consider This Your Cultural Warm-Up

Meanwhile, David Hockney’s first exhibition at the Serpentine runs through 23rd August. Its centrepiece is ‘A Year in Normandie,’ a panoramic frieze inspired by Bayeux Tapestry consisting of over 100 iPad paintings.

Dinner, Naturally, Comes Next

Happily, The Park is close enough to make a proper evening of it. Begin with a cocktail, linger over dinner, or come to us afterwards for something fortifying and very civilised. Summer in London is brief, occasionally chaotic, and best enjoyed with a good table secured in advance.
