JUST FOR DRINKS? ABSOLUTELY.

The Bar at The Park is open for cocktails, mocktails, sharpeners and much more.

The Bar at The Park is open for cocktails, mocktails, sharpeners and much more.

For some time now, people have found themselves lingering there.

A quick drink before lunch becomes another. Someone stops in for a martini and ends up staying for dinner. Plans evolve, timelines become flexible, and new friends are made. We consider all of these to be excellent developments.

Which is why we are delighted to share that The Bar at The Park is fully open for drinks, no dining reservation required.

Join us for an aperitif, stay for a Negroni, or simply settle in for the sort of evening that unfolds without too much interference. We find these are often the best kind.

For Those Partial to Something a Bit Lighter…

At The Park, we have developed a particular affection for what we call sharpeners, perfectly proportioned cocktails intended to whet the appetite rather than overwhelm it. A shorter pour, if you will, for those who believe restraint has its place. At least initially…

The Martini del Nonno is especially tempting, alhough the Turf Club Martini has also developed something of a following. We encourage exploration.

The Matter of Negronis

Few drinks inspire such loyalty. Some insist upon the classic, gin, Campari, vermouth, and absolutely no improvisation. Others enjoy a little variation, provided that standards remain intact. We are sympathetic to both camps.

Our robust Negroni menu moves happily between the traditional and the more adventurous: perhaps a Tarragon & Olive Negroni, something smoked and plum-led, or a Sbagliato Rosa for those inclined towards bitterness softened ever so slightly by prosecco.

We suspect the Italians would approve.

Cocktails Near Hyde Park, Worth Lingering Over

Whether you are stopping in after a walk in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, meeting friends before dinner, or simply looking for cocktails in Queensway without committing to an entire evening, The Bar at The Park lends itself rather well to spontaneity.

Martinis before supper. Margaritas with chilli. Californian wine by the glass, along with sophisticated alcohol-free cocktails.

A small menu of snacks exists too, naturally. Because one drink has a habit of becoming two.
