“It’s been wonderful to see so many familiar faces back in the dining room and hear all about your travels over the summer holidays. I’ve been off as well, visiting Sicily and Norway, where I went to a music festival and ate some incredibly delicious fish. Scott’s just back from Cambodia, so the team is once again complete, and we’ve been delighted to welcome some new team members to The Park as well.
Our new fall menu is arriving on 22nd September, so there are lots of new dishes to try. But in the meantime, our market fish has been proving very popular — it changes every week, so do pop in and give it a try. We’d love to know what you think. I’ve been enjoying the skate wing. This time of year, everyone is asking me what to order, and my current recommendation is the osso buco and vitello tonnato — both so delicious, and they really put me in the mood for fall.
Our £1 martini tradition on Friday lunch is still going strong, but a gentle reminder that it must be ordered with food — if only to ensure that you aren’t absolutely required to go home and take a late afternoon nap. You can enjoy it at your table or at the bar until 5pm, and we like to think they are one of the reasons that our bar has been feeling particularly lively lately, which we love. I do hope to see you sometime soon.”
